Back in August, I traveled to New York City for the very first time in my life.
The Big Apple was on my to-do list for sure, but I never felt that OMG feeling in my stomach to go visit. Am I making any sense?

A weekend getaway is my favorite. I suffer from wanderlust, so there are times where I will just have this urge to get up and leave somewhere. Now my brokenness doesn’t allow me to do this as much as I would like.
But I do try to do it as often as I can.
Every so often we all need to get away without a plan. Vacations are awesome, but honestly, they are stressful to plan.
Not to mention it can take months to plan and save for.
Our financial situations don’t allow us to just get up and leave and getaway all the time.
Yet even going to a small town near your area gives you renewed energy.

Last month (April) I was able to make a quick trip to the lovely #California as you all know, my heart kind of belongs there. Although this was a short trip, I decided to make it a lifetime memory for my cheese-ball and my self of course.
